Terms of service
Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 July 2026
These Terms of Service explain the rules that apply when you visit displayarmour.co.uk, create an account or place an order with Display Armour. Please read them before purchasing.
Display Armour is a trading name of DISPLAY ARMOUR LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 16294927. Our registered office is Office 7412, 321–323 High Road, Chadwell Heath, Essex, England, RM6 6AX.
In these terms, “Display Armour”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean DISPLAY ARMOUR LTD. “You” and “your” mean the person using the website or placing an order.
1. About These Terms
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and the policies referred to in them. If you do not agree, you should not use the website or place an order.
These terms are primarily written for customers purchasing as consumers. A consumer is an individual acting mainly for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession. If you purchase wholly or mainly for business purposes, the consumer-specific rights described in these terms may not apply. Trade, wholesale and bespoke orders may also be subject to additional written terms supplied with a quotation.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any legal rights that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
2. Other Policies That Apply
These terms should be read together with our:
- Returns and Refunds Policy;
- Shipping Policy;
- Privacy Policy; and
- any product-specific, pre-order, promotion, loyalty or trade terms displayed before you place an order.
If product-specific or promotional terms conflict with these general terms, the more specific terms will apply to the relevant product or promotion, except where doing so would reduce a right that cannot lawfully be reduced.
3. Using Our Website
You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse, disrupt, damage or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its accounts, checkout, source code, data or connected systems.
You must not use automated tools to scrape the website, copy product information at scale, interfere with availability, circumvent security measures or place fraudulent orders.
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our customers or our business, or where we believe these terms or applicable law have been breached.
4. Accounts and Customer Information
You may be able to purchase as a guest or through a customer account. You are responsible for providing accurate, current and complete contact, billing and delivery information.
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential and for activity carried out through your account. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
You must be at least 18 years old, or otherwise have legal capacity and any necessary permission, to place an order.
5. Product Information and Compatibility
We take reasonable care to describe products accurately and to keep prices, specifications, compatibility information, photographs and availability up to date. Screen settings, lighting and manufacturing tolerances can cause minor differences in colour, clarity, finish or appearance.
Many Display Armour cases are designed around particular cards, bubbles, boxes, toy lines, eras or regional variants. Packaging dimensions can differ between releases, reissues, production runs and international versions. You should review the product description and compatibility information before ordering. If uncertain, use our Case Finder or contact us with photographs and measurements.
Any compatibility guidance is based on the information and materials reasonably available to us. It does not remove your rights if a product is faulty, misdescribed or does not match information that formed part of the contract.
Collectibles, cards, figures, packaging and display props shown in product photography are not included unless the product description expressly states otherwise.
Display cases help reduce exposure to dust, handling, knocks and some ultraviolet light, but no case can prevent every form of fading, ageing, environmental change, accidental damage or loss. “UV-resistant” or similar wording does not mean that all ultraviolet light is blocked. We do not guarantee the future condition, value or market price of any collectible stored or displayed in a case.
6. Third-Party Brands and Trade Marks
References to toy manufacturers, entertainment properties, character names, product lines and third-party trade marks are used for descriptive and compatibility purposes. Unless expressly stated, Display Armour is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by those third-party rights holders.
7. Placing an Order
Please check the products, quantities, delivery address and total price before submitting an order. You will normally receive an email confirming that we have received it. An acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.
Unless we expressly tell you otherwise, a contract is formed when we send a dispatch confirmation. For a pre-order, acceptance may instead occur when we confirm that stock has been allocated to your order.
We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance where, for example:
- the product is unavailable;
- we cannot authorise or verify payment;
- we identify an obvious pricing, description or availability error;
- delivery is unavailable or restricted for the destination;
- purchase limits have been exceeded;
- we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse or unlawful activity; or
- we are unable to fulfil the order for another legitimate reason.
If payment has already been taken for an order we do not accept, we will refund the amount paid using the original payment method.
8. Prices, Currencies and Payment
Product prices are those displayed when you place the order. Available currencies can depend on the country or region selected. Your checkout will show the currency, product total, available delivery charges and other amounts collected by us before payment is submitted.
Where currency conversion is used, the displayed or charged amount can be affected by exchange rates and rounding. Your bank, card provider or payment service may apply its own conversion rate or fee, which is outside our control.
International import VAT, customs duty, carrier handling charges and similar destination charges are not included unless checkout expressly states that we collect them. Please review the Shipping Policy before ordering internationally.
We accept only the payment methods made available at checkout. Payments may be processed by Shopify or another third-party payment provider under that provider’s terms and privacy practices. You confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
Payment may be authorised or collected when the order is placed, including for pre-orders. Taking payment does not prevent us from refunding and declining an order before acceptance where necessary.
9. Promotions, Discounts and Armour Points
Discount codes, automatic multi-buy discounts, promotional offers and Armour Points are subject to any conditions displayed with them. Unless expressly stated, offers cannot be combined, exchanged for cash, transferred or applied retrospectively.
We may correct, withdraw or refuse a promotion where it has expired, been used contrary to its conditions, been affected by an obvious error or been obtained through misuse. This does not affect an order already accepted unless we are legally entitled to cancel it.
10. Pre-Orders
A pre-order reserves eligible incoming stock. Payment is normally taken when the pre-order is placed unless the product page or checkout states otherwise.
Estimated availability and dispatch windows are shown on the relevant product page. These are estimates rather than guaranteed dates and may change because of production, freight, customs or other circumstances. We will provide material updates using the contact information supplied with the order where reasonably practicable.
Under our Pre-Order Guarantee, an eligible Display Armour case pre-order may be cancelled before dispatch for a full refund. After dispatch, the cancellation and return provisions in these terms and our Returns and Refunds Policy apply.
If an order combines in-stock and pre-order products, it may be held until all products are available unless split delivery is offered or separately agreed. Place urgent in-stock products in a separate order or contact us before purchasing.
11. Delivery
Delivery services, prices, processing information and estimated times are explained in our Shipping Policy and shown where applicable at checkout.
Delivery estimates normally begin after dispatch and are not guaranteed unless a service is expressly described as guaranteed. We will deliver within any time specifically agreed with you or, where no different time is agreed, within the period required by applicable law.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Contact us immediately if an address needs correcting. Changes may not be possible after processing or dispatch, and a reasonable re-delivery charge may apply where a parcel is returned because the address supplied was incorrect, incomplete or inaccessible.
Larger orders may be divided into multiple tracked parcels. Separate parcels can receive different tracking numbers and arrive independently.
The risk of loss or damage passes to a consumer when they, or a person identified by them other than the carrier, take physical possession of the goods. Ownership passes only after we have received full payment.
12. Your Right to Cancel an Online Order
If you are a UK consumer purchasing standard goods online, you normally have a legal right to cancel without giving a reason. The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or a person identified by you other than the carrier, receives the goods. Special timing rules can apply to orders delivered in multiple parts.
To exercise this right, tell us clearly that you wish to cancel before the cancellation period expires. You can email info@displayarmour.co.uk, use our Contact page, or use the model cancellation form at the end of these terms.
After notifying us, return the goods within 14 days. Contact us before sending anything so we can provide return instructions. Unless the goods are faulty, incorrect or we agree otherwise, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning them.
You may inspect the goods as you would in a shop. We may make a lawful deduction for loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Where the legal cancellation right applies, we will refund the price and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Additional cost paid for an enhanced delivery service is not normally refundable. We will make the refund within the time required by law and may wait until we receive the goods back or you provide evidence of return, whichever occurs first.
The legal change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised for you. This exception does not remove rights relating to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods.
13. Display Armour 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
In addition to applicable statutory rights, our voluntary 30-day satisfaction guarantee gives eligible in-stock orders additional return time.
To use the voluntary guarantee, contact us within 30 days of receiving the eligible product. Unless it is faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed, the product must be unused, in its original condition and original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.
Custom-made or clearly personalised products and gift cards may be excluded from the voluntary change-of-mind guarantee where permitted by law. Discounted products retain the same statutory rights as full-price products.
Full instructions, exclusions and refund information appear in our Returns and Refunds Policy. The voluntary guarantee does not restrict or replace your statutory rights.
14. Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect or Misdescribed Goods
Products must be as described, fit for purpose where a particular purpose has been made known and of satisfactory quality, as required by applicable consumer law.
If goods arrive damaged or incorrect, please contact us promptly and, where possible, within seven days. Keep the goods and all external and internal packaging and provide your order number and clear photographs where relevant. The seven-day reporting request helps us investigate a carrier issue and does not reduce your statutory rights.
Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, the appropriate remedy may be a refund, repair, replacement, price reduction or another agreed resolution. We will cover reasonable return costs where goods are faulty, incorrect or supplied in breach of contract.
15. Refunds
Refunds are made to the original payment method unless another method is required or agreed. Your bank, card provider or payment service may take additional time to display the refund after we process it.
More information about eligibility, return instructions, inspections and refund timing is available in our Returns and Refunds Policy.
16. Intellectual Property
The website and its original content—including Display Armour branding, logos, copy, photography, graphics, case designs, diagrams, page designs and proprietary technology names—are owned by or licensed to DISPLAY ARMOUR LTD and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may view and use the website for personal shopping and information. You may not reproduce, publish, distribute, commercially exploit, reverse engineer or create derivative works from protected content or product designs without prior written permission, except where applicable law expressly allows it.
17. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may contain links to or integrations with services operated by third parties, including payment providers, delivery carriers, review platforms and social networks. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their independent content, availability, terms or privacy practices.
A link does not necessarily mean that we endorse or are affiliated with the third party. You should review the relevant third-party terms before using its service.
18. Website Availability and Changes
We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may update, suspend or withdraw content or functionality for maintenance, security, operational or legal reasons.
We may correct obvious typographical, pricing, technical or availability errors. Changes to website content do not alter a contract already formed unless agreed with you or permitted by law.
19. Our Responsibility to Consumers
We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
We supply consumer products for private use. If you use a product for a commercial, resale or business purpose, we are not responsible to you for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- defective products where liability cannot lawfully be excluded;
- breach of your statutory consumer rights; or
- anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
20. Business Customers
If you purchase wholly or mainly for business purposes, you confirm that you have authority to bind the business. Statutory rights available only to consumers do not apply.
Subject to liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited, we will not be liable to a business customer for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, anticipated savings, goodwill or opportunity. Our total liability arising from an order will not exceed the amount paid for that order. Separate written trade or wholesale terms will take priority where applicable.
21. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control. Examples can include severe weather, carrier disruption, customs delays, industrial action, transport interruption, failure of utilities or networks, cyber incidents, government action, import restrictions, epidemic, fire, flood or supplier disruption.
We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect of the event and keep affected customers informed where appropriate. Your legal rights, including any right to cancel because of significant delay, are not affected.
22. Personal Information
We use personal information as explained in our Privacy Policy. Payment and other service providers may process information under their own privacy policies.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the website, our products, business practices or applicable law. The updated version will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date.
The terms applying to an order are normally those in force when the relevant contract is formed. A later change will not retrospectively reduce your contractual or statutory rights.
24. General Provisions
If a court or competent authority finds part of these terms unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under a contract without our written consent, except where applicable law allows. We may transfer our rights or obligations where this does not reduce your rights or protections.
These terms are between you and DISPLAY ARMOUR LTD. No other person has a right to enforce them, except where the law provides otherwise.
25. Governing Law and Courts
These terms and contracts made through the website are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in another part of the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from mandatory local law and may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom where you live. If you are an international consumer, nothing in these terms removes mandatory protections or court rights that apply under the law of your usual country of residence.
