01 / WHY MOC IS DIFFERENT

A mint-on-card figure is more than a toy. It is a complete object made from printed card, formed blister, adhesive, figure and packaging artwork. A good display must protect the relationships between those materials—not simply surround them with a box.
Blister bubbles
Formed plastic can crush, crack, yellow or separate from the card. Bubble depth also changes the correct internal footprint for each figure line.
Cardback bowing & curl
Cards are not rigid blocks. Without controlled support they can lean, bow or develop curl as weight, humidity and time act on the card plane.
Artwork & UV exposure
Printed colours and clear bubbles can change under daylight and indoor lighting. UV-protected acrylic helps reduce exposure, but valuable pieces should still be kept away from direct sunlight.
